Welcome to the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Directorate of Federal University of Transportation Daura.
I am delighted to welcome you to the official page of the ICT Directorate. Management of the university’s ICT infrastructure and network systems
Development and maintenance of the university website and portals
Technical support services for staff and students
Management of institutional email systems
Software development and automation of university processes
Database and server administration
Cybersecurity and data protection
Internet and wireless connectivity management
ICT training and digital literacy programs
Maintenance of computer laboratories and ICT equipment
Support for e-learning and virtual learning platforms

Current ICT Units
Eight highly specialized engineering and administrative units coordinating our daily technology services.
Software Development Unit
Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of university software systems, portals, and applications.
Network & Infrastructure Unit
Manages internet connectivity, network equipment, servers, wireless access points, and overall ICT infrastructure.
Technical Support & Maintenance Unit
Provides technical assistance, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of ICT equipment and systems.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection Unit
Handles system security, data protection, access control, monitoring, and cybersecurity awareness.
Website & Digital Media Unit
Manages the university website, digital communication platforms, online publications, and multimedia content.
Systems Administration Unit
Responsible for server management, backups, database administration, and cloud services.
E-Learning & ICT Training Unit
Supports digital learning systems, online classrooms, ICT capacity building, and user training programs.
Help Desk & User Support Unit
Serves as the first point of contact for ICT-related complaints, requests, and user support services.

I am Nasir Hassan, the Head of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Directorate at Federal University of Transportation Daura. I am passionate about technology, software development, innovation, and digital transformation. My goal is to ensure that the university leverages modern technology to improve efficiency, communication, learning, and institutional development.
